The UHHRU Strategic Litigation Centre was established in 2004 to provide qualified legal assistance to victims of human rights violations in matters of strategic importance. The expert council of ten qualified experts select these cases of importance. These cases receive systematic media coverage through advocacy activities of UHHRU. Particularly in 2015 more than 20 leading Ukrainian media were involved in advocacy campaigning of these cases. The head of the Centre is Mykhailo Tarakhalo.
