The new publication “Indicators of Local Human Rights Passportisation” was prepared by the results of the annual work of the UHHRU on the evaluation of local governments in the field of implementing human rights.
The publication contains a tool designed for monitoring and evaluating local governments to promote and protect human rights. The evaluation system is based on the main areas of implementation and protection of human rights, based on the powers of local authorities. Each area includes: directions of realization of human rights, monitoring objects, sources of information and evaluation indicators, and also includes a mechanism for tagging human rights groups. The indicators were tested during monitoring missions in cities of different regions of Ukraine.
The development is designed for employees of state and public specialized human rights institutions as well as local authorities and local governments.
The report can be found in the Publications section under the link.
