“Story of a City” is a series of the reports of the Documentation Center, recording and restoring the historiography of the armed conflict in the east of Ukraine. Documentation Center holds the opinion that recording of the current events history will allow to avoid political speculations in the future and objectively depict this event history.
The tour, which will be running from November 26 till December 1, will visit pupils of 10-11 forms in the cities: Mariupol, Pokrovsk, Maryinka, Toretsk, Kramatorsk and Slovyansk.
For a week the schoolchildren will have the opportunity to study, in an unusual format, the history of the front-line cities in the context of Russian-Ukrainian war. Documentation center is aiming to preserve the history for the future generation together with those who make it now.
UHHRU experts will take part in the event – the lawyer of the public reception office Sergiy Movchan and the operator of the Documentation center Anastasia Zorya.
The presentation will be conducted in two cities – Mariupol and Kramatorsk.
November 26, 15:00 – Mariupol, 36 Nilsena str., creative space “Vezha”.
November 30, 15:00 – Kramatorsk, 1 Marata str., Anti-Crisis Media Center.
