A working meeting was held in Kyiv with representatives of UHHRU legal aid centers from 10 cities
On April 4, 2018 representatives of UHHRU legal aid centers and All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS met in Kyiv. At the meeting, we discussed key issues, problems and peculiarities of the Network’s efforts aimed at protecting the rights of people living with HIV/AIDS, the groups and persons vulnerable to HIV and those diagnosed with tuberculosis.
Since February, UHHRU has been providing free legal aid to the above-mentioned groups of the population. You can find help by following this link.
The working meeting took place within the framework of the project “Reducing the strain of tuberculosis and HIV through universal access to timely and high quality diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis and its drug-resistant types; evidence-based prevention, diagnosis and treatment of HIV; and creation of sustainable and viable healthcare systems”, with the financial support of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
