UHHRU met with the representatives of the Institute for European Politics and Platform for Analytics and Intercultural Communication Project.
November 7, 2018 was a successful day for the team of Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union. On that day an excellent team of young researches from Germany visited the office. These talented young people were united by the European Politics Institute (Berlin) and Platform for Analytics and Intercultural Communication Project. The project is aimed at the development of Ukrainian “think tanks”, creation of the synergy between Ukrainian and German analytic centers, exchange of knowledge and intercultural competences, needed for successful cooperation.
Together with Bogdan Moisa, Ksenia Semyorkina and Oleg Martynenko, German researches got an opportunity to compare their views on the problems existing in Ukraine, related to human rights observance in the context of the armed conflict. The aspects of protection of vulnerable categories of population, legislative initiatives, cooperation of the non-governmental sector with the authorities were discussed. Further cooperation can be a rather interesting creative prospect.
