Annoucement of the selection of participants of the School of Social Project Development among students of the Taurida National University

We would like to announce the selection of participants of the School of Social Project Development among students of the Taurida National University (in Kyiv exile) within the Human Rights First project. The purpose of the training is to promote the humane society and to increase respect for human rights by strengthening civil society.
The School of Social Project Development is an educational training of the Ukrainian educational program “We Understand Human Rights.”
The School of Social Project Development
The aim is to activate students and to promote the creation of educational space, in which participants of the training would have the opportunity to work together effectively for the sustainable development of the institution as the territory of rights.
Tasks:
- To encourage students of the institution to take responsibility for their social needs;
- To acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to address the needs;
- To build understanding and respect for human rights.
Participants:
The main audience is student leaders (members of student councils) and students with active citizenship of the Taurida National University (in Kyiv exile).
Criteria:
- active citizenship;
- interest in learning and expanding horizons;
- good communication skills;
- respect for the principles of justice, including social justice.
During the School, knowledge, and skills of socially oriented activities will be formed, and skills of project planning and implementation will be developed.
Dates: 22- 26 February 2017
Location: Educational Human Rights House- Chernihiv

Please note that letters must be received no later than 17:00, 17 February 2017. Participants will be notified of the selection results till 19 February 2017.
The organizers will provide reimbursement of travel expenses to the venue, provide free accommodation and meals.
After the training, all participants will receive certificates.
