19.03.2018
On 25 March 2018, Sunday, results of the project “Dumaidan 2017: Getting Together around the Tent of Understanding” will be presented during the DOCUDAYS.UA film festival.
The goal of the project is to identify causes of misunderstanding in Ukrainian society between people from different ethnic groups and cultural background, and to find ways of addressing it. The Tent of Understanding was conceived In February-March 2017, when participants discussed understanding in our society and looked for ways to improve the situation during master classes in various cities of Ukraine, “sewing” the Tent together from many pieces of multi-colored fabrics. After the presentation, an auction will be held for the Tent of Understanding as well as special lots – conversations over breakfast with famous Ukrainian: intellectuals, philosophers and human rights activists Yevhen Bystrytskyi, Yosyf Zisels and Olexander Pavlichenko. The money from the auction will be awarded to the Ukrainian documentary film that best explores the topic of equality.
