UHHRU Press Conference “Human Rights during the armed conflict in Ukraine”

On Tuesday, December 12, at 12:30, the Glavkom Press Center (8/20, Shovkovychna St., Kyiv) will host a press conference titled “Human Rights in Armed Conflict in Ukraine” by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union.

Alina Pavliuk, a lawyer of the Strategic Litigations Center of UHHRU
Participants of the press conference will review the main tendencies in human rights in 2017, as well as threats and perspectives expected in the next year. In particular, UHHRU experts will focus on the strategic challenges related to the armed conflict, work of the International Criminal Court in investigating war crimes and crimes against humanity in Ukraine, human rights situation in Ukraine, including in the Crimean Peninsula occupied by Russia, and also in uncontrolled territories of certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.
