On May 22, 2018, the European Court of Human Rights reached a decision on the case Zelenchuk and Tsytsyurav versus Ukraine, declaring the ban on the sale of agricultural land in Ukraine a violation of Article 1 of Protocol 1 (protection of property) to the European Convention on Human Rights. The case was supported by UHHRU Strategic Litigation Center.

UHHRU lawyers will share how their client’s case unfolded at the Court and explain what implications this judgment holds for Ukraine.
