The publication is devoted to the complex analysis of protection of cultural property in the in situations of armed conflict in the East of Ukraine.

It provides the international legal reference of the Hague Convention of 1954 and Protocol І to it and analyzed practice of their application. Based on study of open sources and conducted own monitoring visit there were identified the problematic issues of the situation with the protection of cultural property in the East of Ukraine.
